当代著名胡琴演奏家，国家一级演员，中国广播民族乐团名誉首席，中央音乐学院客座教授。

姜克美在胡琴演奏上大胆探索，兼容并蓄，逾越了胡琴乐器之间的界限，形成典雅细腻、雍容大度的演奏风格。她虽主修板胡，却系统学习了五种胡琴（京胡、板胡、二胡、高胡、中胡）的演奏，1988年因举办五种胡琴演奏音乐会而名噪京城，并从此赢得“五胡乐女”的美誉。她先后与中国爱乐乐团、中国国家交响乐团、俄罗斯国立交响乐团、中央民族乐团、台北市立国乐团等诸多乐团和指挥家进行成功的合作。

作为独奏家，姜克美在维也纳金色大厅、华盛顿肯尼迪艺术中心、纽约林肯艺术中心、联合国大会堂、柏林音乐厅、悉尼歌剧院等著名剧院演奏了不同类型的胡琴独奏曲，赢得广泛的国际声誉。被誉为“成功的姜克美模式”，“当代最杰出及最受欢迎的胡琴演奏家”。

Chinese two-string Instrument: Jiang Kemei

Jiang Kemei is a famous Huqin (Chinese two-String Instrument) player, national first-level actress, honorary chief of China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra, visiting professor of Central Conservatory of Music and standing director of China Nationalities Orchestra Society. She is the personnel of "four-group" talents cultivation project, enjoying the special government allowance issued by State Council. She has successively held a series of Huqin solo concerts in Beijing, New York, Osaka, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, etc., and has been invited to take part in various international art events such as The Cannes International Film Festival in France and Prague Spring, etc. Cooperating with many orchestras and conductors, she gave performances throughout over 10 countries, including Huqin solos performed in many world-famous art centers such as the Golden Hall in Vienna, Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, etc. With elegant, exquisite and generous playing style, she has obtained the international fame and is honored as "the contemporary most preeminent and most popular Huqin player".
