Enrica Ciccarelli graduated from the G Verdi Conservatory in Milan, where she studied piano. She then went on to take master classes at the Lausanne Academy of Music with Maestro Jean-Bernard Pommier, and in the same year, she attended classes in Musical Phenomenology taught by the famous conductor Maestro Sergiu Celibidache. She was awarded a scholarship to study at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Maestro Hans Graf.
Enrica began her performing career in 1989. Since then, she has performed in major concert halls in Italy and abroad, having shared stage with famous conductors and important orchestras such as: Prague Symphonic Orchestra, I Solisti Veneti conducted by Claudio Scimone, Mexican State Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Enrique Bàtiz, Deutsche Kammerorchester, Berliner Symphoniker, Moskow Symphonic Orchestra, Orchestre Nationale de France.
She made her debut in France in the Salle Gaveau in Paris with the First Piano concerto by Chopin. Since then she has performed in Australia, Mexico, Germany, Austria, Holland, Korea, China, Hong-Kong, Japan and in all Europe. She also performed with Paul Badura-Skoda the Double Concerto by Mozart to critical and popular acclaim.
Enrica started making recordings for AGORA in 1995. Her first CD includes pieces by Prokofiev, Rachmaninov and Mussorgskij. She was awarded a prize by Musica for the disc of Robert Schumann’s Concerto and Clara Schumann’s with the Montpellier Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Friedemann Layer. Since then she has made many CDs.
From 2002, she has been invited to tour Asia, America and Europe.
